CROSStrax makes tracking communications simple. Users can produce and send emails from within each the case file. From there, each email is logged with who sent the email, to whom it was sent, what was said in the email and whether or not there were attachments and what the attachments were. Each email is automatically saved within the case notes in each individual case.
With CROSStrax you have the ability receive emails from external sources, such as Outlook or Gmail. For example, if a user sends a communication to a client, an investigator, or anyone else, and the recipient simply replies to the communication, CROSStrax will copy the reply email into the case notes of the correct case file and follow-up by sending a copy of the email to the users traditional “Inbox”, whether it be Outlook or Gmail, or any other email client. This way, investigators maintain a clear correspondence audit trail of all email records related to a case with no effort whatsoever.
